Biography

"Mark Wong has over 30 years history of advising Western companies to develop industrial technology projects in China. In the late 1970s he assisted Dunlop in the transfer of radial steel truck tyre making to China as one of the earliest technology transfer programme ever undertaken in modern China, He was advisor to GEC plc (and subsequently Marconi) for over twenty years and was involved in successful power generation projects including the 2x900MWe Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station and the 2x350MWe Yueyang Coal fired Power Station. He was consultant to Hughes Aircraft and Lockheed Martin respectively in Phase 1 and 2 of the China National Air Traffic Management Programme. He has acted as consultant to numerous companies in their China business development including AMEC, BAE Systems, National Power, Westinghouse, and Dyson. He was appointed State Advisor to the China National Non-Ferrous Metal Corporation for 3 years in 1984."[1]
