"Major General (Retd.) Johan Jooste served for a total of thirty-five years in the South African Defense Force (SADF), and he is now the Head of Special Projects for South African National Parks (SANParks).

"Amongst his other responsibilities, General Jooste leads the team responsible for protecting over 40% of the world's rhino. He is arguably one of the world's most qualified and experienced voices when it comes to the prevention of wildlife crime and conservation matters in Southern Africa." [1]
