Baron Richard Best is a member of the House of Lords, and former Director of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (1988 to December 2006). [1] wiki
"Lord Best was created a life peer in 2001. He is chair of The Property Ombudsman Council and The Glazing Ombudsman Council, Chair of the Private Rented Sector Policy Forum, Trustee of the Royal Society of Arts and Trustee of The Tree Council. His public duties also include Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Housing and Care for Older People, Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary (APP) Group on Urban Development, and Treasurer of the APP Group on Housing Needs and Homelessness, and serving on the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee."
