"In February 2006, Samuel Kofi Woods became the Liberian Minister of Labor appointed by the newly elected President Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf. In 1991, Woods became director of the Justice and Peace Commission in Liberia. Liberia's civil war, and the subsequent Intervention by Nigerian troops, led to mass abuses of human rights." [1]
