Use of Video News Releases and/or Satellite Media Tours

In the 6am news bulletin on December 23, 2005 the station broadcast an interview from a satellite media tour (SMT) organized by D S Simon Productions for the Knowledge Adventure, Brother Build-A-Bear Workshop, Tide to Go and Drugstore.com on stocking stuffer ideas for Christmas. The SMT was part of PR campaign by Edelman. [1]

In the 8am news bulletin on January 2, 2005 the station broadcast an interview from a satellite media tour mixed with edited and re-voiced material from a video news release produced by D S Simon Productions for Subway promoting its "fresh solutions" menu. [2]

In the 5pm news bulletin on March 6, 2006 the station broadcast an uncut version of a video news release produced by Medialink Worldwide to promote General Mills pancake products. [3]
