'Jump Start Sudan

"Since Akot Lual Arec, a "Lost Boy" of Sudan, founded the organization in 2002, JumpStart Sudan has provided humanitarian aid to the region around Akon, Sudan which is home to approximately 93,000 people.

"Through four relief missions from 2002 to 2005, JumpStart Sudan representatives have hand-delivered blankets, school uniforms and supplies, mosquito nets and Bibles to the neediest recipients. Medicine and medical supplies were given to the one doctor who serves the community to administer to the people who flock to the area when they hear JumpStart Sudan is coming." [1]
