Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. (died in 1992)
"He founded Americans for Democratic Action and served as its president, and he sat on the executive board of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. He also served as general counsel of the Leadership Conference of Civil Rights for more than 40 years." [1]
