Jon Romcke

Mr. Jonathan Romcke has been Managing Director of Sphere Minerals Limited since June 3, 2015 and its Director since May 2015.

The Board of Glencore Xstrata subsidiary Sphere Minerals Ltd today announced the appointment of Jonathan Romcke to the position of Managing Director. Mr Romcke was recently Project Manager for the El Aouj project and subsequent position of Technical Director of El Aouj Mining Company. Prior to this he was a employed in management and technical roles with Xstrata across their coal and nickel businesses. He was formerly a mine manager with Oakbridge Coal in NSW at the time of the 1996 Gretley Colliery flooding. [1]
