Biographical Information

"John Duggan is Chairman of Spazio Investment N.V., an Italian property Investment fund listed on AIM and was until recently, a non executive director of SGL Vietnam Limited, which was also listed on AIM. He was Chairman of Gazeley, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wal-Mart, until it was recently sold.

"He is a qualified accountant (FCCA) with an MBA from Cranfield (UK). He is an experienced business manager with nearly thirty years experience in the real estate and retail sectors. He is particularly interested in developing high performing teams with a shared vision and values in a strong adaptive culture that can respond with agility to a rapidly changing external environment.

"John joined Gazeley in July 1988 as Managing Director and was promoted to CEO in 1998, and become Chairman of Gazeley in March 2006. He was responsible for building Gazeley into a leading International developer of warehouse space with an excellent reputation. Wal-Mart acquired Gazeley when they bought Asda, a leading UK retailer, ten years ago. He has also spent four years as a director on the Asda Management Board with responsibility for all its property activities.

"He is also Chairman of the Milton Keynes Parks Trust (MKPT) and a board member of the China-US Centre for Sustainable Development. Until recently he sat on the US Advisory Council for HRH The Prince of WalesBusiness and the Environment Programme. He is a member of the advisory council of the Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility at Cranfield University School of Management. He is also a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.
