Biographical Information

"John Hynes is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TASC... Before his promotion to his current role in September 2012, Hynes was senior vice president of TASC’s Defense and Civil Group, the TASC organization that supports the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and civilian agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The group’s portfolio of services includes systems engineering; technology and architecture assessment; test and evaluation; advisory, mission engineering and assurance services; cybersecurity engineering, studies and analysis; and acquisition management and financial services.

"Before that, Hynes was senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s Mission Support Business Unit, a 3,600 person organization with more than $1 billion in revenue earned from a wide array of services to the intelligence community, including geospatial products, all source analysis, operational support and language services. Previously, he w as president of ManTech Security and Mission Assurance. Hynes began his private sector career with TASC as an analysis... He also served at the Navy Operational Intelligence Center as an intelligence analyst and department head. He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s in management information systems from George Washington University."[1]
