John Laxalt, the brother of former Nevada governor Paul Laxalt who was a lobbyist for Reagan's Citizens for the Republic circa 1977[1], could be Las Vegas attorney John M. Laxalt[1], or could be John P. Laxalt, Deputy Commissioner of Nevada's Division of Insurance, Department of Business and Industry[2], or could be a different John Laxalt entirely.

(Probably he's not the Sacramento John M. Laxalt born in Susanville CA 12/20/1953, who died 07/26/2008 of cancer. [2])
