Jay Winthrop "is a principal in Douglass Winthrop Advisors LLC. Previously, Jay was a Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at JPMorgan Chase, where he provided strategic advice to companies in the technology, media and financial services industries. Jay also worked at Hambrecht & Quist and the Office of Management and Budget.

"Jay serves as a trustee for charitable and family trusts. He is chair of the American Farmland Trust and was an elected representative in the town of Old Greenwich.

"Jay received an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1992 and an AB from Harvard College in 1986." [1]
