Jerrold D. Green
Jerrold (Jerry) Green "took up his appointment as President and CEO of the Pacific Council in May 2008. Dr. Green previously served in several leadership positions at RAND, including Director of International Programs and Development, Director of the Center for Middle East Public Policy and Associate Chairman of the Research Staff Management Department. Prior to joining RAND, he was Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Green has written widely on Middle East themes focusing on American Middle East policy, the role of religion in the region, inter-Arab relations, Iranian politics, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. Dr. Green holds an MA and PhD in political science from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Massachusetts/Boston." [1]
