Biographical Information

"Mr. Jean A. Monville served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMEC Continental Europe of Amec Plc. Mr. Monville served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SPIE S.A. Since 1997, Mr. Monville has been Chairman of the Spie Batignolles group, which became AMEC Spie then, in 2006, Spie SA. He serves as the Chairman and Director of Amec Spie S.A and AMEC Spie Sud-Est. In 1974, he joined Isochem, a company specializing in chemistry and chemical engineering. In 1978, he joined the Spie Batignolles group as Vice President export finance. From 1984 to 1992, he served as deputy Chief Executive Officer then Chief Executive Officer of Spie Capag, a subsidiary specializing in oil projects. In 1992, he served as Vice President marketing of the Spie Batignolles group, before being appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer in 1995. He has been an Independent Director of Imerys SA since May 2, 2007. He served as Chairman of the Board of SPIE SA and serves as its Director. He served as an Executive Director of Amec, Inc. He served as a Director of AMEC Continental Europe. Mr. Monville served as an Executive Director of AMEC PLC from February 1997 to July 27, 2006 and was responsible for the Continental European operations. He was honoured in December 2001 with the highest award, the Légion d'Honneur, given by France for outstanding service to the country. A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Paris and the holder of an Economic Science degree, Jean Monville began his career in 1969 at the Financial Department of Société Générale, in charge of the building and public works sector and concession projects."
