Biographical Information

"Jim Gaither Became the interim President of Holos University in April of 2013. He will be inaugurated as President during the Fall, 2013 graduation ceremony. He is a professor at HU, a member of the HU Academic Board and an adjunct professor for Unity Institute. Jim has a Master’s Degree in philosophy from the University of Kansas and a ThD from Holos. He is an ordained Unity Minister and “Pastor Emeritus” of the Unity Center of Practical Christianity in New York City, where he was the successor to Eric Butterworth. Jim served for 20 years as instructor of ministerial and licensed teacher students at Unity School where he taught metaphysics, ethics and world religions. He has been a regular contributor of poems, articles and columns to Unity Magazine for over 30 years and is the author of The Essential Charles Fillmore: Collected Writings of a Missouri Mystic. Jim continues to avidly follow his interests in science, philosophy, history and the world’s spiritual and religious traditions. He was recipient of the 2003 “Charles Fillmore Award for Visionary Leadership” from Unity Worldwide Ministries."[1]
