Institute for Regional Studies

The Kyrgyzstan Institute for Regional Studies was formed in 1995 and is "funded by: the National Endowment for Democracy, Soros and Hivos. The national legislative framework supporting this programme: Lawyers of various universities of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Ministry of Interior Affairs." ^[1]

Received NED grants in 1998, 2000, and in 2001.
