Biographical Information
"Ian has 40 years experience in the construction materials industry and has had a succession of management roles culminating in his appointment as managing director of Lafarge (Redland) Aggregates in 1990, a position he held until his retirement in 2003. After retiring Ian operated as a consultant to Lafarge UK and held the position of non-executive chairman of 'The Concrete Centre'.
"Ian was first appointed to the board from December 2005 to November 2009. He was reappointed to the board for a further term of four years from 1 December 2009. Ian sits on our audit; finance and performance; and remuneration committees." [1]
