Hilton Hotels Corporation is a large hotel chain based in Beverly Hills, California, U.S.A., with hotels in over 80 countries around the world. Brands include Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, and Hampton. The Conrad brand has upscale lodging. The Homewood Suites brand has long-term stay. [1]

Barron Hilton, Co-Chairman of Hilton Hotels, has a personal wealth of US$2.3 billion and is in position 195 in the Forbes list of the world's richest people. [2] [3]

The Blackstone Group, a private investment banking firm, is in the process of buying Hilton Hotels Corporation. [2]
