Harry F. Weyher, Jr.
Harry F. Weyher Jr. (19 August 1921 – 27 March 2002) was an American lawyer and president of the Pioneer Fund from 1958 to 2002.
"Born in Wilson, North Carolina, he attended the University of North Carolina where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He joined the War in Europe in 1943, becoming a First Sergeant in the Army and earning two battle stars. In 1949, he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, following which he joined Cravath, Swaine & Moore. From 1951 to 1952, he served as Special Assistant Attorney General to the NY State Crime Commission. In 1954, he co-founded the law firm of Olwine, Connelly, Chase, O'Donnell & Weyher. He was also an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University School of Law. He was later of counsel to the NY law firm of Hollyer, Brady, Smith, Troxell, Barret, Rockett, Hines & Mone." [1]
