GlobalTox describes itself as "a privately owned international corporation providing services in industrial hygiene, human and environmental toxicology, and risk assessment." [1]

GlobalTox personnel coauthored a 2004 critique of studies linking the industrial solvent Trichloroethylene (TCE) to congenital malformations. [2] The same authors subsequently authored in 2005 a critical review of TCE toxicity in the scholarly journal Birth Defects Research, but listing their affiliation as Veritox, Inc. [3] According to a conflict-of-interest diclosure published with each paper, GlobalTox's Bruce J. Kelman has provided testimony as a defense witness in TCE litigation involving congenital malformations. [4]
