Franklin Templeton Investments (Franklin Resources, Inc.) is a U.S. mutual fund company with more than 100 funds. Headquartered in San Mateo, California (just south of San Francisco), the company has offices in 29 countries around the world. Investment product brands include Franklin, Templeton, Mutual Series, Bissett, Darby, and Fiduciary Trust. About a third of the company is owned by the descendants of founder Rupert Johnson Sr. [1] [2]
