Biographical Information

"Ed is Managing Attorney in the Utah Office of Navajo Nation Legal Services. He worked nine years as a Montana Water Master, judging water rights disputes, and twelve years with David Brower as a field representative for Friends of the Earth. He wrote Montana's Initiative 84, forbidding uranium mill tailings and most other radioactive waste; it passed in 1980 and is still the law. He served for four years as a member of the Sierra Club national board of directors. He lives in Bluff, Utah."[1]
