"Dean Allen is CEO and majority owner of McKinstry Co., a design, build and operate mechanical firm in Seattle. He has extensive experience in the construction and real estate industry in the Pacific Northwest. He has been with McKinstry Co. for more than 25 years and has built the company to $150 million per year in revenues with close to 1,000 employees. Dean serves on boards for Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, Global Partnerships and PATH. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Washington College of Arts & Sciences and on the Board of Directors for the Partnership for Learning, an association of the Washington Roundtable. He is a member of the Swedish Medical Center Foundation Cardiac Advisory Council and is a past president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Washington. Dean earned degrees in biochemistry and psychology from the University of Washington, where he graduated magna cum laude. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children." [1]
