Biographical Information
"Mr. Ferguson began his career with Coca-Cola USA in Atlanta, Georgia in 1983. He was transferred to The Coca-Cola Export Corporation in 1988, and has held a variety of management and Board positions in subsidiaries of The Coca-Cola Company in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka,Vietnam, Morocco and Egypt.
"In January 1998, Mr. Ferguson was appointed Senior Region Manager for Egypt. He assumed the position of Managing Director of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt in July 2000. In 2002, he became of Senior Region Manager for the West Africa Region, based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. In late 2003, Mr. Ferguson was named Senior Regional Director for the Western Africa Region based in Casablanca, Morocco. He was appointed to his current position in January 2005.
"Mr. Ferguson is a Director of The North African Beverage Company, which is a joint venture for The Coca-Cola Company in the fast-growing North African market.
"Mr. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Finance and Management from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Stanford University and the Executive Management Program conducted by Wharton\Emory Universities. In 2006, Curt was appointed to the US-Egypt Business Council by the US Commerce Secretary, Mr. Carlos Guiterrez." [1]
