{{#badges: CoalSwarm| Climate change}}Central Electric Power Cooperative is part of an extensive network of Missouri electric cooperatives, which together form the third largest electric network in Missouri, serving a demographic area that covers 80% of state. Central Electric is a Generation and Transmission (G&T) cooperative, owned by eight distribution cooperatives that together serve 165,800 residential, commercial, and industrial members.[1]

Central Electric Power Cooperative and five other Missouri G&T cooperatives together own Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc., which manages and dispatches power generation and transmission among all it's member organizations.
