Biographical Information
Sir Chintāman Dwārakānāth Deshmukh (1896 – 1982), wiki better known as C. D. Deshmukh, was an Indian civil servant and the first Indian to be appointed as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (1943–1949) by the British Raj authorities.
