Bruce A. Green "is the Louis Stein Professor at Fordham Law School, where he directs the Louis Stein Center for Law and Ethics. He teaches and writes primarily in the areas of legal ethics and criminal law. Professor Green is a member and past chair of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics, which issues opinions interpreting the New York Code of Professional Responsibility. He also serves on the state bar association’s Committee on Standards of Attorney Conduct, which is developing proposed amendments to the Code, as well as on the ethics committee of the New York City Bar. He serves in the state bar association’s House of Delegates and is a director of the New York County Lawyers’ Association. Additionally, Professor Green currently serves on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination drafting committee. He serves on the Council of the ABA Section of Litigation, in which he previously chaired committees on Ethics and Professionalism, Law Schools, and Amicus Curiae Briefs. He also serves as Reporter to the ABA Task Force on the Attorney-Client Privilege. He previously served as Reporter to the ABA Commission on Multijurisdictional Practice; as a member of the N.Y.C. Conflicts of Interest Board; and as a member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department. Prior to joining the Fordham faculty, Professor Green was a law clerk to Judge James L. Oakes and Justice Thurgood Marshall and an Assistant U.S. Attorney and Chief Appellate Attorney in the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He received his B.A. degree with highest honors from Princeton, and his J.D. degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a Kent Scholar, Stone Scholar and editor of the law review." [1]
