Bradley N. Currey Jr., Retired Chairman and CEO Rock-Tenn Company.

"Mr. Bradley Currey, Jr. was the Chief Executive Officer at Rock-Tenn Company from 1989 to 1999. Mr. Currey joined Rock-Tenn Company in 1976, having served as a Director since 1967. He has served as the Chairman of the Board at Rock-Tenn Company from 1993 till retirement on January 31, 2000. Mr. Currey also previously served as the President from 1978 to 1995 and the Chief Operating Officer from 1978 to 1989 at Rock-Tenn Company. After service as a U.S. Army Enlisted ... Man and Commissioned Officer, he joined Trust Company of Georgia in 1953, rising to an Executive Vice President and a Director of the bank holding company in 1974. Mr. Currey is a Member of the Advisory Board at Chatham Capital Partners, Inc. and Fulcrum Ventures. He also serves on the Boards of Directors and Executive Committee at Rock –Tenn Company and Genuine Parts Company. Mr. Currey has been a Director at Brown & Brown, Inc. since 1995 and also serves as the Chairman of Corporate Governance Committee and Member of Nominating Committee. He is also a Director at Enzymatic Deinking Technologies, Inc. Mr. Currey served as the Deputy Chairman and the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta from 1984 to1989. He is a Trustee and Member of the Executive Committee of the Woodruff Arts Center and an Honorary Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Currey is a Trustee of the Ida Cason Callaway Foundation at Callaway Gardens and serves on the Boards of Directors of the Commerce Club. He is an Emeritus Trustee of Emory University, having served as a Member of the Board of Trustees from 1980 to 2000. He was the Chairman from 1994-2000. Mr. Currey served on the Boards of Directors and Executive Committees of the American Forest & Paper Association and of its predecessor the American Paper Institute for many years. He was a founding member of the Paper Recycling Coalition. Mr. Currey served as a Director, Member of Executive Committee, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Paperboard Packaging Council. He served on the Boards of Directors of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (Chairman in 1974), the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Currey is an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta. Mr. Currey grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee graduated from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1951." [1]
