Betty L. Farrell "has broad national and international experience in midwifery practice, education, training, project management, project evaluation, and professional midwifery organizational capacity-building. As technical advisor with numerous domestic and international organizations, including the American College of Nurse-Midwives, International Health Programs/UCSF, and Pathfinder International, Ms. Farrell has provided technical assistance in Botswana, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Peru, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Ms. Farrell is currently focusing on strengthening FP within postnatal and post-abortion care services and developing a framework and guidance for FP integration with HIV services under Engenderhealth’s ACQUIRE project."
