Benjamin F. Few was President & CEO of Liggett from 1951-1959.

Biography

Benjamin F. Few was vice president of Advertising for Liggett & Meyers from 1940 to 1951. During this time he was in charge of marketing Chesterfield cigarettes.(N. He served on the Executive Committee for the Tobacco Institute, Inc. in 1958 and 1959.(Source: UCSF, B & W, 1012.01)

B.F. Few was President of Liggett from 1953 to 1959 and served on the Board of Directors (New York) from 1953 to 1959.(Source: L&M, et al Summary of Officers & Directors - LGI/LTC Liability Notebook.) Few was on the original board of directors for the Tobacco Institute in 1958.(Tobacco Institute COI 1/27/58)

Few retired on November 30, 1959, as President and Director of the Company, having served the Company for over forty-three years. He was succeeded by William Blount.[1]
