Belle Taylor-McGhee
Belle Taylor-McGhee "is the executive director of Pharmacy Access Partnership, a center of the independent non-profit Public Health Institute. Pharmacy Access Partnership works to improve and promote direct consumer access to contraceptive services, supplies and information in pharmacies. Ms. Taylor-McGhee is also the current president of the California Coalition for Reproductive Freedom, a coalition of more than 40 organizations dedicated to ensuring that every woman has the community support and access to make informed personal decisions about her physical and sexual health. In addition, Ms. Taylor-McGhee serves on the Board of Directors for EngenderHealth, an international not-for-profit organization that works to improve sexual and reproductive healthcare for women and men worldwide.
"Prior to joining Pharmacy Access Partnership, Ms. Taylor-McGhee served as the executive director of the Department on the Status of Women for the City and County of San Francisco - appointed by former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. Before this appointment, Ms. Taylor-McGhee served as the executive director of CARAL, and the director of communications for NARAL Pro-Choice America in Washington, D.C. She is a former investigative television news reporter with more than a dozen years of broadcast news experience in Seattle, Tampa/St. Petersburg, and Alabama markets." [1]
