Biographical Information
"Baroness Valentine is Chief Executive of London First, acting as representative for some of London’s leading businesses, influencing national and local government. She entered the House of Lords as a Crossbench Peer in 2005, having previously held the role of National Lottery Commissioner. She has established public-private regeneration partnerships: the Central London Partnership in 1995, the Blackburn Partnership in 1988 and is a board member of TP70 2008 (II) a venture capital trust. Baroness Valentine is an Honorary Fellow of St Hugh’s College Oxford and was awarded an honorary doctorate by Roehampton University."[1]
