Biointensive Agriculture is a synthesis of the biodynamic and French intensive methods of agriculture, developed by Alan Chadwick, an English master gardener.[1] Chadwick brought this method to the United States in 1966 and, through his work and the work of Ecology Action, biointensive agriculture has spread around the world, including to Russia, Latin America, and Africa.
