Australian Critical Race and Whiteness Studies Association (ACRAWSA) "is a growing social and cultural network of researchers who recognise that whiteness operates through institutions, ideology and identity formation. We seek to examine how whiteness helps to secure political, legal and economic privileges for those racialised as white people, leaving many Indigenous and other people racialised as non-white disadvantaged and dispossessed of material, cultural and intellectual resources. We seek to explore how race operates in the context of non-white and non-Indigenous people, such as Asian Australian and Ethnic identities and subjectivities."
