Biographical Information
"Mr. Andrew Graham Cripps, BA, ACA served as the Head of Strategy Development at British American Tobacco Plc. Mr. Cripps has experience within the consumer goods sector, including roles in corporate strategy, finance and mergers and acquisitions, coupled with significant non-executive and audit chair credentials across a number of international listed companies. He began his career with KPMG before spending over 20 years with Rothmans International and BAT plc. Mr. Cripps has extensive experience from a background in accountancy, senior international executive management, corporate finance and M&A. Until 1999, he served as Director of Corporate Finance at Rothmans International and also served as its Head of Acquisitions & Ventures. He joined Rothmans International Plc in 1983. He served as a Senior Executive of British American Tobacco plc. He began his career with KPMG before spending over 20 years with BAT plc and Rothmans International in a variety of finance, management and M&A roles. From 1983 to 1995, he held a number of positions in Europe where he gained experience as a Director of both public and private companies.
"He serves as Chairman of Trustees of Oxford House in Bethnal Green Inc. He has been Deputy Chairman of Swedish Match AB since April 2008 and as its Director since April 20, 2006. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Booker Group Plc since December 1, 2007. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Carreras Group Limited. He served as a Non Executive Director of Helphire Group plc from March 1, 2009 to October 2011. He served as a Non Executive Director of Trifast Plc from September 23, 2004 to March 31, 2008. He served as a Director of Molins plc from August 1, 2008 to January 27, 2011. Mr. Cripps qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Mr. Cripps is a Cambridge University Economics graduate and is a qualified Chartered Accountant." [1]
