André Desmarais has been a director of CITIC Pacific "since 1997. He is the President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Power Corporation of Canada. He is a Senior Advisor to the International Advisory Council of China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development." [1]
In 2003: "J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Inc. announced today the appointment of Mr. Andre Desmarais, President and co-CEO of the Power Corporation of Canada, to the firm's International Council." [2]
