AMY S. HUBBARD, Senior Research Associate at JBS International. She is a former Research Associate of the Child Welfare League of America; and a former Senior Research Associate for the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships. [1]

From a 1992 report: Hubbard "was a Visiting Fellow at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution in 1991-1992. She began her work on Palestinian-Jewish dialogue during graduate studies at Syracuse University where in 1992 she received her Ph.D. in Social Science. At Syracuse, she was associated with the Program on the Analysis and Resolution of Conflicts, where she specialized in the study of social movements, social conflict, and conflict resolution. She is currently an assistant professor of sociology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

"Her main research interests are on how people build social movement coalitions across lines of conflict. This paper, which is based on her dissertation, will be part of a book about Middle East dialogue. Dr. Hubbard recently began new research on how changes in the strategies used by the Palestinian nationalist movement over the,years have been viewed by the U.S. Jewish community. She is also interested in cooperation across class and racial divisions in U.S. urban areas." [2]

Her PhD was titled "CROSS-CULTURAL CONFLICT RESOLUTION GROUPS: AMERICAN PALESTINIANS AND JEWS IN DIALOGUE ON THE MIDDLE EAST (CONFLICT RESOLUTION)." Her supervisor was Marshall Segall. [1]
