ABC operates the ABC Television Network. ABC ran stories on nicotine on Day One programs on February 29, 1994 and on March 7, 1994. The reporter for those stories was John Martin. Philip Morris Companies, Inc. and Philip Morris, Inc. filed suit against ABC, reporter John Martin and producer Walt Bogdanich in the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond, Virginia, No. LX-8163.
