Alireza Moshiri
Ali Moshiri "is a graduate of University of Tulsa, where he earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering in 1976 and a master's degree in 1978. Mr. Moshiri joined Chevron U.S.A. Production Company in 1978 as a reservoir engineer in Louisiana and held a number of production-related positions. He gained valuable management experience as supervisor, production engineering, with Chevron Petroleum Technology Company in 1983 and as supervisor, technical application, with Chevron U.K., London, in 1987. In 1990, he joined Chevron's international subsidiary, Chevron Overseas Petroleum Inc., as manager, petroleum engineering; and became general manager, petroleum and facilities engineering, in 1994. In 1997, he was named general manager of strategic planning and opportunity assessment of Chevron Overseas Petroleum Inc. Effective January 1, 2000, he assumed the position of general manager, advisor to the vicechairman of the board. Mr. Moshiri was born in March 1952." [1]
