Asia Institute

The Asia Institute (until 2005 known as Melbourne Institute of Asian Languages and Societies) "promotes the study of the rich languages, intellectual, cultural, political and religious traditions of Asia and Islam as well as their contemporary manifestations in the modern world." [1] The Institute is housed within the purpose built Sidney Myer Asia Centre.
