Credit Suisse Group was founded in 1856. According to the Group's web site, "Credit Suisse Group has been supplying professional service, building up knowledge, harvesting talent and exceeding boundaries by permanently identifying new fields of activities, by setting up new branches, through mergers and acquisitions."
