Biographical Information
"Derek Mapp was appointed to the Huntsworth Board as Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 December 2014. In March 2017 Derek won the Non-Executive Director of the year award 2017 for quoted companies for his work as Chairman of Huntsworth. He is Chairman of Informa plc, Chairman of Mitie Group plc, non-executive Chairman of Salmon Developments Limited, the Chairman of Imagesound Limited and the non-executive Chairman of 3aaa Limited. Derek has an historical career as founder of Tom Cobleigh pub chain and Leapfrog Day Nurseries. He also has a number of private business interests. " [1]

He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Salmon Developments plc and Executive Chairman of Imagesound plc. He is also Chairman of the British Amateur Boxing Association. Following the merger of Informa and Taylor & Francis in May 2004, he was appointed as Non-Executive Director. On 17 March 2008 he was appointed as Non-Executive Chairman.
