Kenneth R. Weinstein is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hudson Institute.

Before being appointed CEI in June 2005 he had worked with Hudson as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the previous eight years.

In announcing his appointment as CEO the chairman of the board, Walter P. Stern "lauded Weinstein’s work in refocusing the institute’s research on foreign policy and international relations, bringing on board renowned scholars, and relocating the institute to a more spacious facility." [1]

He previously served as the Director of the Government Reform Project at the Heritage Foundation.
