Robert Mercer is a hedge fund manager at Renaissance Technologies who earned $125 million in 2011. [1] He contributed $250,000 to Club for Growth Action (the Super PAC associated with Club for Growth)[2] in July, 2012. The July FEC filing also shows that he contributed $500,000 in the 2012 election cycle.[3]
