Concerned Women for America is the organization allegedly founded by Beverly LaHaye in 1979.

Missions and activities of the CWA include deterring stem cell research, cable television, pornography, "the morning after pill" and gay lifestyles & culture; and promoting "sanctity of life", "religious liberty" and "national soverignty".

CWA seeks to bring "Biblical principles into all levels of public policy."

Anyone who donates any dollar amount (even as little as $1.00) to the organization is then counted among the membership. CWA claims to have "over 500,000" members.

In 2001 the CWA initiated the "Culture and Family Institute" which is intended to "focus. . . with particular emphasis on the homosexual activist movement and other forces that threaten to undermine marriage, family and religious freedom."
