Bahá'í Computer And Communication Association
"The Baha'i Computer and Communications Association (BCCA) is an international grassroots organization operating under the guidance of the Baha’i Internet Agency, an agency of the Baha’i International Teaching Center. Its mandate is to help individual Baha’is as well as local, regional, national and international Baha’i institutions effectively utilize communication and computer technology in the exercise of their functions and in the discharge of their responsibilities. While much of the focus of this aid is directed toward the use of the Internet, it also encompasses other technologies such as telephony, radio and TV transmission (both professional and amateur) and other forms of wireless communication. The mandate is fulfilled by supporting and in some cases hosting web sites and Baha’i projects, by supporting individual initiatives, mentoring youth, organizing online service projects, and serving as a source of technical advice."[1]
