Currently he is associated with the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution and the Securities Studies Program at MIT. He is the winner of the Heinz Award in Public Policy, the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of Germany, and the Presidential Distinguished Service Award and the holder of an honorary Doctor of Laws from the Stetson University College of Law."
