Nora Lillian Allgood was the stepmother of the cancer victim in the court case of Allgood v. R.J. Reynolds. In Allgood, filed in 1991, a smoker brought claims based on nicotine "addiction" and throat cancer, including claims that tobacco manufacturers had fraudulently concealed and misrepresented information regarding" addiction.
