Dr Susan E. Rice is a member of the Advisory Board of America Abroad Media.

Rice is "The Stephen and Barbara Friedman Endowed Fellow at The Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. Dr. Rice served as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs under President William Jefferson Clinton from 1997 to 2001, and previously at the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for African Affairs. She received her Bachelor's degree from Stanford University and her D. Phil. (Ph.D.) in International Relations from New College, Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar."[1]

Although she is no longer associated with Internews, in February 2002, Internews, announced the appointment of Dr. Susan E. Rice to its board of directors. [2]

"Her private sector experience includes work as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company in Toronto." She has also worked as "Managing Director and Principal of Intellibridge International in Washington, D.C., an internet-based information and analytical firm." [3]

Dr. Rice is on the Partnership for Public Service's Board of Governors, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Aspen Strategy Group. [4]
