Global Business Network

The Global Business Network is a network created in 1987 that describes itself as "a worldwide learning community of organizations and individuals—a network, connected by the open and generous exchange of ideas, 'out-of-the-box' scenario thinking, ruthless curiosity, and exciting new information technologies." [1]

The five founders of GBN were:

• Napier Collyns
• Stewart Brand
• Lawrence Wilkinson

Membership

GBB has over 190 corporate members including companies from oil and gas industry, chemicals and biotechnology, food, mining, pharmaceuticals, banking, publishing, nuclear energy and technology sectors. [2]
